Love Island Body Scrub

Love Island body scrub was one of the products from the 2019 Valentines Day range that really stood out to me as being unique and quirky. Lush have been taking a more modern approach on some of their items, like their Peachy and Aubergine bath bombs modelled after the popular emojis. They’re taking social media seriously these days and as well as these emojis being popular on social media, so was the tv series of the same name.
The sugar, sand and salt scrub really packs a punch in the exfoliation and scent department. It shares it’s scent with the class Fizzbanger bath bomb – which in turn is Love scented, just like the body spray and the original perfume. Whilst I’m not a huge fan of this scent, I can really appreciate it in this form as it seems stronger than other products. You could say its almost like a cinnamon apple scent but in this I can really pick up on the other ingredients.
Despite it’s size, this little body scrub which is probably designed for one use, can last quite a few uses. I recommend crushing the scrub into a spare black pot from Lush so you can ration how much you use in each shower.
