Goddess shower gel is one of the new shower gels from the community favourites release in June 2019!
The scent is based off the goddess bath bomb that was first released as an exclusive at the 2018 showcase in Manchester. Jack Constantine made it with Ariana Grande’s song of the same name in mind and tried to recreate the milky purple waters that appear in her music video.
Lush seem to have gone crazy with using the goddess scent in a range of new products. So far we have seen the bath bomb, soap, washcard, liquid and solid perfumes, oil, hair moisturiser and now the shower gel.
Goddess shower gel is full of interesting ingredients. An oppulent blend of essential oils; sensual jasmine and sultry sandalwood along with cleansing white tea infusion, delicate damascus rose whilst the oudh is enigmatic and the floral osmanthus is grounding.
On first sniff from the bottle I was definitely not keen. I could pick up on that tangy almost cheesy hint that I got from the liquid perfume so I was initially quite gutted. However I decided to give it a go in the water before properly judging it and once diluted, I really enjoyed the scent. It was just like the bath bomb, if not nicer. It created loads of bubbles (I paired it with the bath bomb for the ultimate goddess bath) and left the water feeling silky smooth all on its own.
The stunning deep purple colour filled with the most gorgeous lustre only adds to the beauty of this gel and I wish I could get my hands on 10 more bottles!
