Goddess shower gel is one of the new shower gels from the community favourites release in June 2019! The scent is based off the goddess bath bomb that was first released as an exclusive at the 2018 showcase in Manchester. Jack Constantine made it with Ariana Grande’s song of the same name in mind and tried to recreate the milky purple waters that appear in her music video. Lush seem to have gone crazy with using the goddess scent in a range of new products. So far we have seen the bath bomb, soap, washcard, liquid and solid perfumes, oil, hair moisturiser and now the shower gel. Goddess shower gel is full of interesting ingredients. An oppulent blend of essential oils; sensual jasmine and sultry sandalwood along with cleansing white tea infusion, delicate damascus rose whilst the oudh is enigmatic and the floral osmanthus is grounding. On first sniff from the bottle I was definitely not keen. I could pick up on that tangy almost cheesy hint that I got from the liquid perfume so I was initially quite gutted. However I decided to give it a go in the water before properly judging it and once diluted, I really enjoyed the scent. It was just like the bath bomb, if not nicer. It created loads of bubbles (I paired it with the bath bomb for the ultimate goddess bath) and left the water feeling silky smooth all on its own. The stunning deep purple colour filled with the most gorgeous lustre only adds to the beauty of this gel and I wish I could get my hands on 10 more bottles!

The comforter bath bomb was created to be one of the community favourites back in 2018. It was then made a harajuku exclusive for 2019 and has been released across the UK in certain stores to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the first bath bomb. The classic comforter scent has been around for a long time from Lush. It contains bergamot, cassis and cyrpress which creates a perfectly mouthwatering blackcurrant scent. We have had this scent in many products before.. the comforter bubble bar being the most popular and well known one. Many lushies were sad to see the comforter shower cream discontinued back in 2017 so it’s not surprising that this bath bomb has been the centre of attention since it was released. . . Description taken from Lush – ‘Fizzing fast to create fruity foam of purple, pink and white, this cloud-like ball of cassis will help you unwind before you hit the hay. A merry berry blanket of blackcurrant comforts and a burst of brightening bergamot oil refreshes and resets the mind. Meanwhile, soothing cypress oil ushers in a tide of comfort and joy.’
Calavera bath bomb has been a classic for quite a few years now. We have seen it in the Lush Kitchen a couple of times and it is usually released around Halloween time but the most recent was as part of the community favourite in 2018. It will be released across the UK as part of the 30th anniversary of the bath bomb invention celebrations. It contains delicate little marigold petals which appear from the neon green spewing core. It is part of the Calacas/Day of the Ded scent family – if you’re not familiar with these products then you may recognise it from Monsters Ball bath bomb from more recent Halloween seasonal releases. A gorgeous combination of olibanum, lime and neroli oils create a mouth watering lime gummy bear scent. Description taken from Lush – ‘If you’re feeling a little… dead, a soak in a Calacas-scented cauldron of spicy olibanum, lime, and neroli oil is sure to revive you. Lift your spirits and sink deep, deep down into warming waters alive with dancing souls, or are they marigold petals? You decide.’
Golden Pear is a bath bomb that we originally saw as part of the community favourites in 2018. It shares the same scent as the original golden pear soap which was released for Christmas 2017. A fresh and fruity yet rich and warming scent – created by combining cardomom oil with brazilian orange and sandalwood oils. Description taken from Lush – ‘If things turn pear-shaped, look to this fresh and fruity bath bomb to lift your spirits. Invigorating cardamom oil infuses the steam with notes of spiced fruits, while zesty Brazilian orange oil clears the mind. A reassuringly warm, woody aroma grounds this sweet pear, settling busy thoughts.’ This will be available throughout some stores as part of the 30th anniversary of the bath bomb celebrations.
Honey I Washed the Kids bath bomb was part of the 2018 community favourites release. It has now been released in all stores for a limited time as part of the 30 years celebrations for the first bath bomb anniversary. The honey I washed the kids scent is an absolutely classic. We have seen it in so many formats that I think most lushies have tried at least one HIWTK scented product! Description taken from Lush – ‘If you’re looking for a sweet pick me up, this caramelly bath bomb could just be the ticket. As it dissolves into butterscotch-like steam, beautifully blended Fair Trade organic cocoa butter and extra virgin olive oil are released into the water, dishing your skin a healthy dose of hydration. Finally a touch of aloe vera calms and relieves for the most comforting of baths.’
Marshmallow World is an exclusive bath bomb to the Harajuku store but will soon be released online and in some stores to celebrate the 30th birthday of the first bath bomb, invented by Mo Constantine.
We also saw it released as part of the community favourites back in 2018.

The olive branch bath bomb was one of the community favourites released in 2018. It’s one of the 54 exclusive bath bombs being released 29th march for the 30th anniversary of the bath bomb, invented by Mo Constantine. This has the classic olive branch scent, the same as the shower gel.
